Provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is coordinated by the school SEND Co-ordinator (Janet Payne). Our SEND governor is Mrs Moira Pratt.
They ensure that the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities policy works within the guidelines and inclusion policies of the Code of Practice (2014), the Local Education Authority, and other policies current within the school.

Complaints
If you want to complain about SEND provision (including complaints that the school has not provided the support required by your child’s SEN statement or education, health and care (EHC) plan) then follow these steps in order. Move on to the next step if your complaint is not resolved.
- Talk to Janet Payne (special educational needs co-ordinator) (SENCO).
- Follow the school’s complaints procedure (see the school Complaints Policy in the Policies section)
- Complain to Gloucestershire County Council SEND department 01452 425000 / corporatecomplaintsteam@gloucestershire.gov.uk
- Complain to the Education & Skills Funding Agency instead of the local authority if your complaint is not about an SEN statement or an EHC plan (There is a different process if you disagree with a decision your local authority has made about an SEN statement or an EHC plan.)
